About the Classrooms

M. Roundtree
Ms. Roundtree’s Explorers are excited for a new year of learning! As I return to the primary grades for my 7th year of teaching, I am creating a calm, cozy, mountain-themed classroom where students can learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for supporting our classroom and helping our explorers move mountains together!

K. Varas
I will be teaching 3rd grade reading and math strategies in an inclusion setting. My goal is to build connections and bridge learning gaps.

R. Miller
My classroom is about the beginning of their learning adventure. I want my classroom to be a place where they feel they can do anything. We never say can’t or won’t , we say I can and I will. We will set high goals and take the steps needed together. We will work hard but have fun!

S. ClemonsKirby
Multi grade classroom for students with Autism, I teach beyond the core curriculum, as behavior, social, and life skills are needed to build our future leaders.

K. Hobbs
This is my 22nd year teaching in Clay County! I am excited to meet another group of students. My goal this year is to have a more active classroom with more movement and fun learning.

T. Holland
I’m Mrs. Holland, and I’m excited to begin my 7th year of teaching kindergarten! I love creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. My goal is to help each student grow academically, build confidence, and discover a love for learning. I can’t wait to watch this amazing group accomplish great things together this year!

M. Cambron
I teach third grade Math, Science, and ELA Intervention. I look forward to my 31st of teaching in Elementary! Your generosity goes such a long way! Thank you for your consideration!

S. Deaton
Starting year 20 in ELA with secondary students. My students always say my room is where they can exhale and be themselves in it, so I went with the vibe of making it like a forest with rugs and floor pillows. I have a large set of "velcro" students annually, so trying to make it comfortable for them. I desperately always need pencils, tissues, and disinfectant wipes. I have a "menstruation station" set up since I am closer to the group restrooms than going to the clinic. This year I am teaching 6th grade ELA for the 4th year at Tynes. I love my students and my classroom. Thank you for considering!

S. Batten
This will be my second year teaching! First full year, I started middle of last year. I’m excited to start day one with my students and would love to have my room updated! I hope to have all my students love math and science by the end of the school year!

S. McClure
My goal is always to create a warm classroom where kids can enjoy learning!

A. Carter
Help Our 4th Grade Class Brew Big Dreams – I’m creating a coffee house-themed classroom where students feel welcomed, inspired, and excited to learn every day! YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP PROVIDE: Comfortable seating and cozy spaces, books and engaging learning materials, classroom décor, and supplies for hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.

A. Abbott
Moving to 2nd grade this year and teaching all subjects!

J. Howard
This year I’ll be teaching math and science. For the past 6 years I’ve taught math and so any supplies for science would be greatly appreciated.
